Tokyo, 5th Sep. India’s Krishna Nagar has created history by winning the gold medal in the men’s singles badminton event SH-6 at the Tokyo Paralympics.
He defeated Hong Kong player Kai Man Chu 2-1 in the final match. Krishna won this match which lasted for three games by 21-17, 16-21, 21-17. He was successful in winning India its fifth gold medal.
With this, India’s total medal tally in the Tokyo Paralympics has increased to 19.
