New Delhi, 11th March.
Ahead of the grand inauguration of the Dwarka Expressway by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Delhi Traffic Police has announced significant traffic regulations in multiple areas of Dwarka. The inauguration ceremony, scheduled for Monday, has prompted authorities to issue an advisory aimed at streamlining traffic flow and ensuring public safety.

According to the advisory released on Sunday, traffic movement will be controlled from 8 am to 2 pm in the vicinity of Dwarka Sector-25, where the expressway is located. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and avoid key intersections including Dhulsiras Chowk, Sector 8-9 crossing, Carmel Chowk Sector-20, Janki Chowk near Sector-23 police station, and Pochanpur flyover Sector-23 Chowk.

Additionally, routes near the Transport Authority office, Sector-21 metro station, and the Pacific Mall cut will also experience traffic regulation. Among the affected routes are Golf Course Road to Dhulsiras Chowk and Bamnoli, as well as Bharthal Chowk to Dhulsiras Chowk and Chhawla Road.

For individuals heading to essential destinations such as the railway station, hospitals, and ISBTs, the advisory underscores the importance of pre-planning travel arrangements.

“The general public and motorists are advised to keep patience, observe traffic rules, and road discipline,” stated the advisory.

In an effort to mitigate congestion, the police have encouraged the public to utilize public transportation options and utilize designated parking areas.

For real-time updates and additional information, commuters are directed to consult the Delhi Traffic Police website, social media channels, or contact the helpline at 8750871493 or 1095/011-25844444.
