WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump on Sunday said that a deal with Iran to end the conflict and reopen the Strait of Hormuz is possible by Monday, April 6, the day his 10-day deadline ends, US Fox News reported after an interview with the President.
Trump also threatened to “blow everything up” and “take over the oil” if Iran doesn’t agree to the peace deal quickly, it stated.
His “expletive-laden” warning to Iran threatens to target power plants and bridges on Tuesday.
Trump wrote on Truth Social “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell JUST WATCH! Praise to Allah.
He reminded Iran that time is running out for the country to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, warned that “all hell will rain down” if Tehran didn’t make a deal in the next 48 hours.
Trump’s 10-day deadline to make a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz ends on April 6.
The ultimatum from the US President came after massive troop buildup in the Middle East with Trump reportedly considering a ground invasion in Iran.
“Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT. Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will rain down on them. Glory be to GOD! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” he wrote on Truth Social.
Trump had given Iran a 48-hour ultimatum to open the Hormuz Strait or face attacks on power plants, oil wells, and potentially desalination plants.
He postponed the strikes just before the deadline was about to end, saying the US and Iran have had productive talks to end the conflict.
