Two Brothers Stabbed to Death by Six Men After Fight at Uttar Pradesh Wedding

Two brothers were allegedly stabbed to death by six individuals during a dispute at a wedding procession in the Khetasarai area of Jaunpur district, according to the police. The authorities have confirmed that all six accused have been apprehended after a brief encounter.

Shahganj Circle Officer (CO) Shubham Todi said that on Tuesday around 11 pm, when a wedding procession arrived in Khetasarai town, some guests came near a shot run by Ajay Prajapati (23) and his brother Ankit (20) to drink alcohol.

The two brothers got into an altercation with the wedding guests which led to the stabbing, the police officer said.

The injured siblings were rushed to Sadar Hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, they succumbed to their injuries. Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.

Todi confirmed that a case has been registered, and all six suspects were apprehended within five hours.

During the encounter, three of the arrested individuals, namely Mukesh Bind, Nishu Bind, and Satish Bind, sustained bullet injuries to their legs and are currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital.
