UP will see the establishment of MSME units worth Rs 3586 crore

In the third ground-breaking ceremony in the state, projects worth Rs 3586 crore will be established, taking another step toward making Uttar Pradesh a major economy and creating job opportunities.

According to the official spokesman, the third groundbreaking ceremony will see the launch of up to 1,500 projects worth more than Rs 75,000 crore.

The micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) sector will contribute approximately Rs 3586 crore to this total. This alone will result in nearly 48,766 new job opportunities in the state.
The most MSME units will be established in Meerut, creating approximately 13,985 job opportunities with an investment of Rs 702 crore.

Meerut will receive over 283 units, with an investment of Rs 915 crore, followed by Ayodhya, which will receive around 128 units. Over 5991 job opportunities will be created through MSMEs.

Among the notable projects set to begin during the ceremony are the Adani and Hiranandani groups’ respective Rs 4,900-crore and Rs 9,100-crore data centers, as well as Microsoft’s Rs 2,100-crore software development centers.

In addition, work on Dalmia Group’s Rs 600 crore cement manufacturing plant in Mirzapur and Hindustan Unilever Limited’s detergent plant would begin.
According to officials from the UP Industrial Development Department, the projects to be launched at the ceremony will only include investment worth Rs 21,000 crore in the information technology (IT) and electronic sectors.

In addition, many other textile, tourism, energy, food processing, and pharmaceutical projects would be launched.
