Srinagar, 27th Nov.
The Director General of Police in Jammu and Kashmir, R R Swain, stated on Monday that the war against militancy in the region is not yet over. He acknowledged that security forces may suffer losses but emphasized that they will not back down from the fight.

Swain mentioned that efforts are being made to minimize these losses. He expressed that the war will only end when one side realizes that it is futile and only leads to bloodshed.

Swain made these comments while speaking to reporters after visiting a Gurudwara in Srinagar.

When asked about infiltration, he stated that it varies depending on the location and snowfall, but he did not provide further details.

Last week, five army personnel, including two captains, were killed in an operation in Rajouri, where two terrorists, including a high-ranking LeT commander trained in Afghanistan, were also eliminated.
