West Bengal: Bhabanipur Constituency Returning Officer Sends Notice to BJP’s Priyanka Tibrewal

Kolkata, 15th Sep. Bhabanipur constituency Returning Officer has sent notice to BJP candidate Priyanka Tibrewal. The notice cites violation of model code of conduct and COVID protocols by them on the day of filing of her nomination, on September 13th.
The notice has been sent asking her to reply as to why permission for her further rallies shouldn’t be stopped. Tibrewal has to file a reply by 5pm today.
Priyanka Tibrewal has said in this regard that I’ve replied to EC notice. They said a number of cars were following me for nomination, but I can’t stop what the public does. I only participated in a ‘kirtan’ with locals. They’re (TMC) scared as I challenged Mamata Banerjee’s nomination.
