West Bengal: Priyanka Tibrewal Calls By-elections an Opportunity to Fight Injustice

Kolkata, 13^th Sep. Priyanka Tibrewal, BJP candidate for Bhabanipur bypolls says that this by-election is an opportunity to fight injustice. She said, “This is a fight against injustice. This is a fight for justice, for the people of West Bengal. I would like to tell the people of Bhabanipur that they’ve received a big opportunity, they should come forward and make history.”

In the assembly elections held earlier this year, Mamata Banerjee had contested from Nandigram seat, but she was defeated by Suvendu Adhikari of BJP. To remain the CM of Bengal, Mamata needs to win the election from Bhawanipur.

Priyanka Tibrewal has started her election campaign from Sunday.

Polls for the Bhawanipur assembly seat will be held on September 30. Counting of votes will take place on October 3. The Election Commission has imposed restrictions on pre- and post-nomination processions for the by-elections. The presence of 50 percent of people has been allowed for the campaign.
