Lucknow, 2nd April. Uttar Pradesh government on Friday announced to recruit 10,000 police personnel within the next hundred days.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath instructed officials to start preparation for the recruitment.
Calling for the use of advanced technology in crime prevention, CM Yogi suggested the use of social media to convey the success stories against crime control.
During a review meeting of the senior police officials of Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi directed officials to take fast and effective action against Mafia and criminals.
Yogi said that according to the zero-tolerance policy of the government against the criminal and corrupt persons, police should take required action against such criminal elements and must take strict action against the top 10 criminals of district and police station level.
CM Yogi called for better coordination between intelligence, STF and SOG.
Yogi also directed officials to complete the necessary work related to the constitution of three women PAC battalions.
