Home Minister extends greetings, highlights state’s heritage and progress

New Delhi, 1st April: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday extended greetings to the people of Odisha on the occasion of Odisha Day, lauding the state’s rich cultural heritage and spiritual significance.
In a message shared on social media, Shah said Odisha stands as a symbol of India’s pride, enriched by its traditions and the divine blessings of Lord Jagannath.
“Greetings to the sisters and brothers of Odisha on Odisha Day. Blessed with a rich cultural heritage and divine blessings of Prabhu Jagannath, Odisha shines as India’s pride,” he said.
The Home Minister expressed hope that the state will continue to progress and achieve new milestones in its development journey.
“May the state touch new heights of progress and prosperity in the journey towards a Viksit Bharat,” he added.
Odisha Day, also known as Utkala Dibasa, marks the formation of the state and is celebrated annually with cultural events and public participation.
