New Delhi, 10th June: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed gratitude to Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan for his congratulatory message on becoming India’s longest continuously serving democratically elected Prime Minister.
Responding to the Vice-President’s wishes, Modi said the trust and blessings of the people of India continue to motivate him to work harder in service of the nation.
In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said his efforts would remain focused on realizing the vision of a developed India while preserving and celebrating the country’s rich civilisational heritage.
“Thank you for your warm wishes, Vice-President Thiru C.P. Radhakrishnan Ji. The trust and blessings of the people of India inspire me to work harder in service of the nation,” Modi said.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed his commitment to the goal of building a prosperous and self-confident Viksit Bharat.
He said every effort of his government would continue to be guided by the objective of ensuring progress, prosperity and opportunities for all sections of society.
Modi also stressed that preserving India’s civilisational values and cultural legacy would remain an important component of the country’s development journey.
Declaring his determination to meet the aspirations of citizens, the Prime Minister said no stone would be left unturned in fulfilling the dreams and expectations of the people.
The remarks came hours after Vice-President Radhakrishnan hailed Modi’s leadership and described him as a transformative figure in contemporary India while congratulating him on achieving the historic milestone.
Prime Minister Modi recently surpassed the tenure record of Jawaharlal Nehru to become India’s longest continuously serving democratically elected Prime Minister, completing 4,399 consecutive days in office.
