Hindu Council of New Zealand Launches Hindu Professionals Association

Auckland, 22nd June: The Hindu Council of New Zealand (HCNZ) has launched the Hindu Professionals Association of New Zealand (HPANZ) during its Annual General Meeting, marking a major initiative to strengthen professional collaboration, leadership and community engagement among Hindu professionals across the country.
The newly formed association will bring together professionals from sectors including healthcare, education, engineering, information technology, law, business, finance, public service and academia. It will provide a platform for networking, mentoring, knowledge-sharing and community service.

HCNZ President Dr Guna Magesan said HPANZ would help professionals connect and contribute not only to their respective industries but also to wider society by encouraging innovation and service-oriented leadership.
The association will organise conferences, seminars, professional workshops and outreach programmes across New Zealand. Its first event, a seminar on “Cyber Security, Data Privacy and Physical Security – A Case Study on a VVIP Visit to New Zealand”, will be held at the Consulate General of India Office in Auckland on June 25.
Dr Vinay Karanam, Joint General Secretary of HCNZ, said the launch reflects the organisation’s commitment to empowering different sections of the Hindu community through specialised initiatives and services.
