New Delhi, 24th July: President Droupadi Murmu on Friday accepted the resignation of Ravneet Singh from the Union Council of Ministers with immediate effect.
According to a press communiqué issued by the Government of India on Friday, the resignation was accepted by the President on the advice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The communiqué stated that the resignation has been accepted under Clause (2) of Article 75 of the Constitution of India, which provides for the resignation of Union Ministers.
