CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Diagnosed with Typhoid
Says illness will not affect agitation as party continues to demand Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation

New Delhi, 25th July: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Saturday said he has been diagnosed with typhoid but asserted that his illness would not weaken the party’s movement demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
In a video message posted on social media, Dipke said he had been unwell for the past few days and was currently undergoing treatment.
“As you know, I have been unwell for the last few days. The reports are out and I have been diagnosed with typhoid,” he said, adding that he was receiving intravenous medication as part of his treatment.
Despite his health condition, Dipke thanked CJP supporters for continuing peaceful demonstrations across the country and expressed confidence that the movement would achieve its objective.
“Congratulations to all of you for making this movement such a big success. I am very sure that if we continue protesting like this, we will get Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation,” he said.
The CJP launched its agitation over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations and has been demanding reforms in the examination and recruitment system, accountability for the alleged lapses, and the resignation of the Education Minister.
The protest gained national attention after activist Sonam Wangchuk joined the agitation on June 28 and observed a 26-day hunger strike.
Wangchuk ended his fast earlier this week after the Centre reportedly gave written assurances that no cases would be registered against peaceful protesters, Parliament would discuss examination reforms and accountability, and compensation for families of students who allegedly died by suicide following the NEET paper leak would be considered.
However, the CJP has maintained that its protest at Jantar Mantar will continue until Dharmendra Pradhan steps down as Union Education Minister.
