New Delhi, 27th July: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended greetings to personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on the occasion of its Raising Day, praising the force for its unwavering courage, dedication and service to the nation.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said the CRPF has distinguished itself through its steadfast commitment to duty and its vital role in safeguarding the country’s internal security.
“Greetings to all CRPF personnel on their Raising Day. The CRPF has distinguished itself through its unwavering courage and commitment to duty. From safeguarding internal security to serving citizens during challenging situations, CRPF personnel have always placed the nation first,” Modi said.
The Prime Minister also commended the force for its sustained efforts in combating Maoism, stating that its operations have significantly contributed to restoring peace, security and development in affected regions.
He said the CRPF’s role in eliminating the menace of Maoism has helped improve the lives of people by creating an environment conducive to progress and stability.
The Central Reserve Police Force, India’s largest Central Armed Police Force, plays a key role in maintaining internal security, conducting counter-insurgency and anti-Naxal operations, assisting states in law and order duties, protecting vital installations and supporting disaster response and election security across the country.
The Prime Minister’s message acknowledged the dedication and sacrifices of CRPF personnel serving in some of the country’s most challenging operational environments.
