GG News Bureau
New Delhi, 17th Sept: The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has released a special logo to mark the birth centenary year of former VHP leader Ashok Singhal, whose birth anniversary falls on September 27.

VHP International General Secretary Bajrang Lal Bagda unveiled the logo in New Delhi. According to the VHP, the logo has been designed to commemorate Singhal’s life, work and cultural contribution and to communicate his ideas and organisational work to younger generations.

The logo carries the words “Ashok Singhal” and “Birth Centenary Year 1926–2015”. The VHP said the saffron-coloured background represents sacrifice, austerity, spiritual consciousness, valour and devotion to what it describes as Rashtradharma. A golden ring surrounding the logo represents the continuity and radiance of the Indian knowledge tradition, according to the organisation.

The design also incorporates an image of the Shri Ram Temple and a saffron flag. The VHP said the temple represents Singhal’s association with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement, while the flag represents Sanatan tradition, organisation, sacrifice and cultural identity.

At the centre of the logo is an image of Singhal. Bagda said the design elements, including his tilak and white attire, represent his spiritual values and simplicity, while the red-maroon name panel and yellow-golden base signify determination, energy, knowledge, light and hope, according to the VHP.

Bagda said the logo is intended to serve as more than a visual identity for the centenary year, describing it as a symbolic representation of Singhal’s life and contributions.

The VHP said the logo will be used during the centenary year in various programmes, publications, digital platforms, memorial campaigns and public outreach activities in India and abroad.
