New Delhi, 1st Oct: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday, with the meeting covering the state’s development and welfare initiatives, investment prospects and ongoing programmes, according to reports. The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed the meeting through a post on X.
According to reports on the meeting, Yadav briefed Modi on initiatives aimed at promoting investment, industrial development and employment generation in Madhya Pradesh. He also invited the Prime Minister to attend the Global Investors Summit 2027 to be held in the state.
Yadav also shared details of the Mukhyamantri Sugam Parivahan Seva and activities being undertaken under the state’s Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which began on September 17. The Chief Minister also apprised the Prime Minister of other development and public-welfare programmes in the state.
The meeting took place during Yadav’s visit to New Delhi on October 1. The Chief Minister also sought the Prime Minister’s guidance on matters related to Madhya Pradesh’s development and welfare initiatives, according to reports.
The PMO’s official statement, however, only confirmed that Yadav met Modi and did not provide details of the issues discussed.
