New Delhi, 18th April: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday extended heartfelt greetings to the nation on the Parkash Purab of Guru Angad Dev Ji, remembering his enduring contributions to society and the Sikh faith.
In a message shared on X, Shah said Guru Angad Dev Ji made service, devotion and social reform the core principles of his life.
The Home Minister highlighted that Guru Angad Dev Ji played a key role in propagating Sikhism through the development of the Gurmukhi script, which became a vital medium for spiritual and cultural expression.
He also underlined the importance of the ‘Langar’ tradition, which promotes equality, unity and community service.
