New Delhi, 31st Aug: Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh, on Sunday held an interaction with a delegation of the Armed Forces HQ Association to discuss various demands and service-related concerns of employees.
The delegation submitted a memorandum to the Minister and discussed issues related to career progression, promotions and pending service matters. The meeting was held in a constructive and positive atmosphere, according to the Ministry.
Dr. Jitendra Singh appreciated the delegation for presenting employee concerns in a structured manner and said continuous dialogue with employee representatives is important for addressing genuine service-related issues and improving administrative efficiency.
Minister assures examination of demands
The Minister assured the delegation that the demands and representations submitted by the Association would be thoroughly examined in consultation with the relevant stakeholder departments.
He said efforts would be made in the interest of employees while ensuring that the issues are considered through the appropriate administrative process.
Singh also emphasised that structured and continuous engagement with employee representatives helps the administration better understand service-related concerns and work towards their appropriate resolution.
Representatives of the Armed Forces HQ Association thanked the Minister and the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) for their continued engagement with employee associations.
The delegation also acknowledged DoPT’s efforts in addressing long-standing employee-related issues and measures aimed at reducing stagnation and improving employee morale.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides agreeing on the importance of continued engagement. The Minister reiterated that the Association’s representations would be examined with the concerned stakeholders for appropriate consideration and action.
