MP Govt Reshuffles Nine IPS Officers
Senior Police Officials Transferred Across Key Posts; New Assignments Take Immediate Effect

Bhopal, 5th July: The Madhya Pradesh government has transferred nine Indian Police Service (IPS) officers in a fresh administrative reshuffle, assigning them to new responsibilities across the state. The transfer order was issued by the Home Department on July 3.
According to the order, Hari Narayan Chari Mishra (2003 batch) has been posted as Inspector General (Administration), Police Headquarters, Bhopal, while Laxmi Chandra Mishra (2006 batch) has been appointed Inspector General, Bhopal (Rural) Zone. Chandrashekhar Solanki (2006 batch) has been posted as Inspector General, Narmadapuram Zone, and Mithilesh Shukla (2006 batch) as Inspector General, Sagar Zone.
Among other changes, Simala Prasad (2011 batch) has been appointed Deputy Inspector General, Khargone Range. Yashpal Singh Rajput (2012 batch) has been transferred from Superintendent of Police, Shajapur, to Superintendent of Police, Railways, Indore. Ramji Shrivastava (2013 batch) has been posted as Assistant Inspector General at the Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Bhopal, while Sanjay Kumar Agrawal (2016 batch) has been appointed Superintendent of Police, Shahdol. Priyanka Shukla (2019 batch) has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Shajapur.
The order also assigns additional charge of Special Director General (Telecommunications) to Adarsh Katiyar (1992 batch) and additional charge of the Indore Range Special Armed Force and RAPTC, Indore, to Anurag (2003 batch) until further orders.
