Interacting with 183 IAS officer trainees of the 2024 batch serving as Assistant Secretaries in various ministries, the Prime Minister said every government file represents the aspirations and concerns of citizens and must be handled with integrity, sensitivity and commitment.

Modi called for a whole-of-government approach, saying major developmental challenges cannot be solved in departmental silos and require effective coordination across ministries.

Highlighting the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, he said future policies and administrative decisions should contribute to building a developed, self-reliant India with a focus on manufacturing, energy security and employment generation.

The Prime Minister also underlined the growing role of technology, artificial intelligence and data-driven governance in improving transparency and service delivery, urging officers to focus on measurable outcomes rather than positions held.
