New Delhi, 10th Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met His Highness Prince Rahim Aga Khan V, the 50th Imam of the Ismaili Community, in New Delhi on Thursday and discussed ways to further strengthen India’s partnership with the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN).
During the meeting, Modi fondly recalled the late Aga Khan IV, father of Prince Rahim Aga Khan V, and his enduring contributions to development efforts.
The Prime Minister and Prince Rahim Aga Khan V discussed expanding cooperation with the Aga Khan Development Network in key areas including healthcare, agriculture, rural development, youth empowerment and women empowerment.
Sharing details of the meeting on X, Modi said he was happy to meet Prince Rahim Aga Khan V and recalled the late Aga Khan IV’s contribution to development efforts.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration in development-oriented sectors and further advancing the partnership between India and the Aga Khan Development Network.
