New Delhi, 1st Sept: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has expressed deep condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and solidarity with people affected and injured in the devastating floods in Nepal.
In a statement, RSS Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale said the severe flooding that struck Nepal on Wednesday morning had affected several northern border districts, including Rasuwa, Dhading, Nuwakot, Chitwan and East Nawalparasi.
The disaster has affected thousands of people across the region, according to the statement.
Expressing solidarity with those affected, Hosabale said the RSS was prepared to assist the victims and would make every possible effort to provide support during the crisis.
He also appealed to people to come forward and extend all possible assistance in the wake of the unprecedented situation.
“RSS expresses its deepest condolences to the families of all those who died in the severe floods in Nepal and stands with the affected and injured,” the statement said.
The RSS said its members would remain ready to support relief efforts and assist those affected by the disaster.
Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarkaryawah of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, issued the statement appealing for collective support and assistance for the flood-hit people of Nepal.
