On the occasion, two publications will be released, including a coffee table book showcasing the impact of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme and a book highlighting the achievements of the Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund.

The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) will launch a range of new eco-friendly products, including infant wear, handwoven textiles and wool stoles, to promote sustainable livelihoods and traditional crafts.

The event will also mark the recent upgradation of the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) to a Schedule ‘A’ Central Public Sector Enterprise and recognise the grant of a Geographical Indication (GI) tag to Andhra Pradesh’s traditional Ponduru Khadi.

The celebrations will conclude with panel discussions on women entrepreneurship and building globally competitive MSMEs, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs and financial institutions to discuss strategies for strengthening India’s MSME sector.
