VP Radhakrishnan Administers Oath to 10 Rajya Sabha Members
Newly elected and re-elected MPs from six states take oath in four languages in the Upper House

New Delhi, 25th June: Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan on Thursday administered the oath and affirmation to 10 newly elected and re-elected members in the Rajya Sabha Chamber.
The members who took oath were Praveen Chakravarty, Debashish Samantaray, Sana Satish Babu, Vijay Chintakayala, Bhashyam Rama Krishna, Lingamaneni Ramesh, Rajesh Parmanand Shukla, Baidyanath Ram, Parimal Nathwani and Tai Tagak.
Of the ten members, five took the oath in Hindi, one in English, one in Tamil and three in Telugu.
The newly sworn-in members represent six states, including four from Andhra Pradesh, two from Jharkhand, and one each from Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Arunachal Pradesh and Odisha.
Union Minister of State for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal, Rajya Sabha Secretary-General P. C. Mody, Members of Parliament and senior officials of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat were present during the oath-taking ceremony.
