New Delhi, 7th April: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reaffirmed the government’s commitment to building a healthier society, marking World Health Day with a call for collective efforts to strengthen healthcare systems.

In a message shared on social media, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to healthcare workers and all those contributing towards improving public health, acknowledging their role in creating a healthier planet.

He emphasised the importance of prioritising individual well-being and urged citizens to actively focus on maintaining their health and fitness.

Highlighting the significance of physical exercise, Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam that outlines the benefits of regular activity, including improved work capacity, better metabolism, reduced obesity, and overall physical strength.
