Jabalpur, 30th April: At least four people were killed after a tourist cruise boat carrying 31 passengers sank in the Bargi Dam area of Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district on Thursday.

According to officials, the vessel was reportedly overloaded when the tragedy occurred, leading to its capsizing in the popular tourist zone.

Local residents, emergency responders and district authorities rushed to the site immediately after the incident.

So far, 15 passengers have been rescued, while search and rescue operations are continuing to locate several others who remain missing.
