PM Modi to Attend Somnath Amrut Mahotsav in Gujarat

Gandhinagar, 9th May: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on May 10 and 11 to participate in religious and public events in Somnath and Vadodara.
The Prime Minister will attend the Somnath Amrut Mahotsav at the sacred Somnath Temple on May 11, marking 75 years since the inauguration of the restored temple.
The temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, is regarded as a major symbol of India’s spiritual and civilisational heritage.
During the event, PM Modi will participate in Vishesh Maha Puja, Kumbhabhishek and Dhvajarohan ceremonies as part of the commemorative celebrations.
He will also release a commemorative stamp and coin dedicated to the legacy and spiritual importance of Somnath.
PM to Inaugurate Sardardham Hostel
Later in the day, the Prime Minister will travel to Vadodara to inaugurate the Sardardham Hostel complex.
The project includes accommodation facilities for 1,000 boys and 1,000 girls along with a central dining hall, library, auditorium and e-Library facilities.
PM Modi will also visit various sections of the Sardardham complex, including civil amenities, dining facilities and reception areas before addressing a gathering.
The visit is expected to focus on spiritual heritage, youth welfare and educational infrastructure development in Gujarat.
