New Delhi, 30th May: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday.
The meeting was confirmed by the Prime Minister’s Office through a post on X.
“Chief Minister of Assam, Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma met Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” the PMO said in its social media post.
No official details regarding the agenda or discussions held during the meeting were immediately disclosed.
Sarma’s meeting with the Prime Minister comes amid ongoing developmental initiatives and policy discussions involving Assam and the northeastern region.
The Prime Minister’s Office also shared photographs of the interaction between the two leaders following the meeting.
