New Delhi, 18th June: Bharat Buildcon 2026, themed “One Nation, One Expo”, was inaugurated at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre by Jitin Prasada, Manohar Lal Khattar and Parshottam Rupala in the presence of representatives from the construction and building materials industry.

The exhibition witnessed more than 25,000 visitors on its inaugural day and brought together architects, builders, developers, contractors, manufacturers, traders, policymakers, industry associations and international buyers from India and abroad.

Addressing the gathering, Jitin Prasada said Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) are playing an important role in boosting economic growth and opening new opportunities for Indian industries in global markets. Referring to the India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), he said the agreement would enhance market access and strengthen trade relations, benefiting Indian manufacturers and exporters.

The Minister also highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of establishing India as a trusted global manufacturing and sourcing destination through a strong focus on quality. He said India possesses the capabilities and resources to strengthen its presence across sectors, including construction and building materials.

Bharat Buildcon 2026 has participation from more than 90 countries and over 100 cities across India. The exhibition displays products, technologies and innovations across 24 segments, including ceramics and stone, cement and steel, hardware, plywood and laminates, furniture, sanitaryware, electricals, paints and advanced construction technologies.

The exhibition will continue over the coming days, providing a platform for industry collaboration, technology exchange and enhanced business engagement among domestic and international stakeholders.
