New Delhi, 25th June: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed deep sorrow over the devastation caused by severe earthquakes in Venezuela, extending condolences to the government and people of the South American nation.
In a message posted on X, the Prime Minister conveyed sympathies on behalf of the people of India to the families who lost their loved ones and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the disaster.
“Deeply saddened by the devastation caused by the severe earthquakes in Venezuela. On behalf of the people of India, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Venezuela, especially to the families who have lost their loved ones. We pray for the speedy recovery of those injured and stand in solidarity with all those affected during this difficult time,” Modi said.
The Prime Minister also reaffirmed India’s commitment to supporting Venezuela during the crisis, stating that India stands ready to extend all possible assistance to the earthquake-affected nation.
