New Delhi, 13th Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday offered prayers to Maa Chandraghanta, the third form of Goddess Durga worshipped during Navratri, and prayed for the well-being, happiness and prosperity of people across the country.
In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister paid his respects to the goddess, who symbolises courage, peace and divine power. He expressed his wish that her blessings bring well-being to everyone and ensure that people’s lives remain filled with happiness, good fortune and success.
In his post in Hindi, Modi wrote, “नवरात्रि में आज साहस, शांति और दिव्य शक्ति की देवी मां चंद्रघंटा की करबद्ध वंदना! उनकी कृपा से सबका कल्याण हो। सभी का जीवन सुख-सौभाग्य एवं सफलता से सदैव परिपूर्ण रहे, यही मंगलकामना है।”
The message reflects the devotional significance of the Navratri festival, during which devotees worship different forms of Goddess Durga and seek blessings for strength, peace and prosperity. Maa Chandraghanta is traditionally worshipped on the third day of Navratri.
