New Delhi, 2nd Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in a mishap in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, and extended condolences to the bereaved families.
The Prime Minister also prayed for the swift recovery of those injured in the accident.
The Prime Minister’s Office shared his message in a post on X, quoting him as saying, “The loss of lives due to a mishap in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh is saddening.”
“My thoughts are with those who have lost their loved ones. Praying for the swift recovery of the injured,” Modi said.
According to initial reports, the accident occurred in Rewa district and involved a passenger bus and a heavy vehicle. Rescue and relief operations were launched following the mishap, while the injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.
