New Delhi, 7th Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday met former Deputy Prime Minister L.K. Advani at his residence and sought his blessings, acknowledging the veteran leader’s decades of public service and contribution to the country.
During the meeting, PM Modi highlighted Advani’s enduring contribution to India’s national life and said his public service had left a lasting imprint on the country’s progress.
Sharing details of the meeting on X, the Prime Minister said he had met Advani at his residence and sought his blessings.
“His decades of public service and contribution to our national life have left a lasting imprint,” PM Modi said, adding that Advani had played a pivotal role in strengthening India’s progress.
The meeting brought together two generations of leadership associated with the BJP, with Modi acknowledging Advani’s long public life and his contribution to the nation.
