How Did Neha Bora Become Congress’s Poster Girl?

Decoding Neha Bora…

We have been hearing the name of Neha Bora, president of the All India Students’ Association (AISA), the student organisation associated with the CPI (ML). Over the past few days, Neha Bora has been repeatedly seen alongside Rahul Gandhi. In a way, she has become Rahul Gandhi’s poster girl.

Now, a new video of Neha Bora has surfaced. In this video, Neha Bora claims that the Gen-Z movements in India and Bangladesh are similar and that the Gen-Z movement currently being witnessed in India actually originated in Bangladesh.

Neha Bora has also stated that just as the young men and women of Bangladesh are fighting against religious fundamentalism in their country, India’s Gen-Z is engaged in a similar struggle here.

The Socialist Students’ Front, a student organisation that participated in Bangladesh’s 2024 student movement, has posted this video on its Facebook account.

In other words, this video featuring Neha Bora, which has been described as anti-national and anti-India, has been posted on Facebook by a Bangladeshi student organisation. Neha Bora had also sent a congratulatory message to the same student organisation on the occasion of its sixth national conference. In that message, she stated that the Gen-Z movements in India and Bangladesh were almost identical.

What Neha Bora Said in Her Message

In her message delivered in English, Neha Bora said:

“Revolutionary congratulations to the Socialist Students’ Front on the occasion of your sixth national conference. We extend our red salute to you.

We know that the Gen-Z movement being witnessed across this country today first began in Bangladesh. We congratulate you for showing us the way and for expressing solidarity with the youth of this country.

We know that the movement that began in Bangladesh was a movement for democratic rights and voting rights. Today, the movement in which young people are participating and taking leadership is also a movement for democratic rights and voting rights.

We know that the struggle you are fighting against religious fundamentalism in your country is the same struggle in which Gen-Z and young people in this country are participating today.

We understand that universities in Bangladesh, particularly Dhaka University and Jahangirnagar University, are facing increasing threats and attacks.

We are witnessing a similar situation in India. Here, students’ rights in our public institutions and central universities are being severely suppressed. At the same time, efforts are being made to push education towards privatisation. Here, we are witnessing the saffronisation of education, the suppression of critical thinking, and similar developments.

Likewise, in Bangladesh, we have seen that critical thinking is being suppressed while political propaganda is being imposed on young people in universities and colleges. We express our solidarity with you. We draw inspiration from you and have learned from the movements you have led. We hope that you in Bangladesh and we in India can fight together for a better South Asia and a better world.”

Looking at Neha Bora’s complete video, one gets the impression that the ongoing youth movement in India is being presented as the second chapter of Bangladesh’s Gen-Z movement.

Does Rahul Gandhi Share Neha Bora’s Ideology?

The question now arises: Does Rahul Gandhi share the ideology of Neha Bora, the so-called student leader whom he has made the poster girl of his protest programme? Does Rahul Gandhi support Neha Bora’s ideology?

Has Rahul Gandhi indirectly acknowledged that this movement has been inspired by the movement in Bangladesh? Has Rahul Gandhi’s desire to become Prime Minister become so overwhelming that, in order to come to power, he wants to create a situation in India similar to what happened in Bangladesh?

However, Neha Bora’s statements in the video make it absolutely clear that she has begun issuing warnings that events similar to those witnessed in Bangladesh could also take place in India.

When Rahul Gandhi has been repeatedly losing elections and has been unable to secure electoral victory for many years, does he now want to engineer events in India similar to those that occurred in Bangladesh in order to fulfil his ambition of becoming Prime Minister?

This is a very serious question today:

Today, we want to tell Rahul Gandhi that he must respond to Neha Bora’s statements and the contents of her video.

His supporters and those who continuously follow him would also want to know whether Rahul Gandhi supports Neha Bora’s ideology or whether his own ideology is different. Does Rahul Gandhi agree with Neha Bora’s statements?

Does Rahul Gandhi also want what Neha Bora has said about those student organisations in Bangladesh?

This question becomes particularly relevant because Neha Bora is not a member of the Congress party. She is a leader of a left-wing student organisation.

Congress, Maoists and the Question of Nationalism

Close attention to another point is important .

During the last Assembly elections in Assam, Congress entered into an electoral alliance with a Maoist party. At that time, the national media did not take the matter seriously. But now,  it has become clear that Rahul Gandhi has joined hands with Maoists, meaning Naxalites, in his pursuit of political power. Rahul Gandhi’s close association with Neha Bora proves precisely that.

This is an extremely dangerous development.  for the first time, Congress has joined forces with Naxalites to destroy nationalism.

 Dangerous. Extremely dangerous!
