Addressing the 35th convocation ceremony of the University of Rajasthan, he said that a degree marks both an end and a beginning, calling upon students to use their knowledge to drive progress and serve society.
Highlighting the vision of a self-reliant and developed India, the Vice President encouraged youth to lead with integrity, embrace lifelong learning and remain resilient in the face of challenges.
He underlined that excellence must be complemented by empathy, stating that achievements without humility and compassion remain incomplete.
On women’s empowerment, he praised the growing academic achievements of women, noting that they increasingly dominate merit lists and medal categories. He stressed that a truly developed nation requires equal opportunities, dignity and leadership roles for women, expressing hope that the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam will enhance representation in legislative bodies.
