Garg has been entrusted with the new responsibility in recognition of her active involvement in organisational work and consistent contribution to party activities.

A lawyer by profession and an active social worker, Garg has been associated with social initiatives for several years. Her work includes supporting the education of underprivileged children, promoting women’s rights and contributing to public service. She has also been an active member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), with her involvement in social and organisational activities beginning during her student years.

On assuming the new responsibility, Garg expressed gratitude to the party’s senior leadership, particularly Biba Jai Inder Kaur, for placing their trust in her.

She said the new role was both an honour and an opportunity to serve the organisation with greater dedication.

“Making Mahila Morcha activities more effective and connecting more women with the organisation will be my priorities,” Garg said.

She added that she would work in coordination with state office-bearers and party workers under the guidance of Jai Inder Kaur. Her focus will be on encouraging greater social and political participation among women while giving fresh momentum to public service initiatives.
