New Delhi, 4th Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday congratulated his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni on becoming the longest continuously serving Prime Minister in Italy’s postwar history.
In a post on X, Modi said the milestone reflected the trust and confidence placed by the Italian people in Meloni’s leadership.
The Prime Minister also highlighted Meloni’s contribution to strengthening the India-Italy Special Strategic Partnership, saying her friendship had played an important role in deepening bilateral relations.
Modi said he looked forward to continuing close cooperation with Meloni to build a prosperous future for the people of India and Italy. He also extended his best wishes for her continued success in the years ahead.
