New Delhi, 10th Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a telephone call from German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on Thursday, with the two leaders reviewing progress in the India-Germany Strategic Partnership.

As India and Germany mark 75 years of diplomatic relations this year, Modi and Merz expressed satisfaction over the sustained momentum in high-level exchanges and the substantial progress achieved across key areas of bilateral cooperation.

The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation in trade and investment, advanced technologies, clean energy, defence, education and talent mobility.

They also exchanged views on regional and global developments of mutual interest and agreed to continue working closely to promote global peace, stability and prosperity.
