New Delhi, 5th Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared an article written by President Droupadi Murmu highlighting the role of teachers in shaping humanity and guiding future generations.

According to the Prime Minister, President Murmu’s article emphasises that teachers shape destinies by imparting knowledge and skills while instilling values and motivation among students.

The article describes teaching as a sacred task of shaping humanity and stresses the importance of encouraging independent thinking and curiosity among children.

President Murmu has also called upon teachers to guide students towards becoming good human beings who respect India’s cultural heritage, develop a scientific outlook and uphold the ideals of Antyodaya, environmental protection and “Nation First”.

The Prime Minister’s Office shared the President’s message on social media on Teachers’ Day.
