New Delhi, 7th Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 10th edition of India Mobile Congress (IMC) on Thursday, October 8, at around 10 AM at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, and address the gathering.

The four-day event, being held from October 7 to 10, is organised jointly by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI).

This year’s theme, “Scale Without Boundaries,” reflects India’s expanding capabilities in digital innovation, next-generation connectivity and technology-led growth.

Four pillars of IMC 2026
IMC 2026 will be built around four key pillars: Srishti – Building the Future; Samvardhan – Fueling Growth; Sashakt – Expanding Opportunities; and Suraksha – Strengthening Trust.

The themes focus on advancing digital infrastructure, driving technology-led economic growth, expanding inclusive digital access and building secure and resilient digital ecosystems. The event will bring together global technology companies, policymakers, industry experts, startups, investors and innovators to discuss emerging opportunities across the digital economy.

New focus on mobility, robotics and transport
The 2026 edition will cover nine established anchor sectors, including 5G and 6G, next-generation AI networks, semiconductors, non-terrestrial networks, cybersecurity, quantum communication, enterprise transformation, circular economy and ESG, and electronics manufacturing.

The Congress is also expanding into four new domains: smart mobility, stadium experiences, industrial robotics and transport technology.

Over 100 countries to participate
IMC 2026 is expected to attract more than 1.5 lakh attendees from over 100 countries.
The event will feature participation from 500-plus partners and exhibitors, more than 600 startups and over 900 thought leaders.

More than 2,000 technology use cases and 120 sessions are also expected to be showcased during the four-day event.

The latest edition is set to provide a platform for discussions on emerging technologies and their applications while highlighting India’s growing digital and telecommunications ecosystem.
