New Delhi, 20th May: Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, has co-authored a joint op-ed with Ulf Kristersson, Prime Minister of Sweden, highlighting the expanding partnership between India and Sweden.

Sharing details on social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi said the two countries are shaping a new era of bilateral cooperation driven by innovation, sustainability and shared prosperity.

“In an op-ed with PM Ulf Kristersson, reflected on how India and Sweden are shaping a new era of cooperation,” Modi said.

The Prime Minister noted that the India-Sweden partnership spans multiple sectors ranging from green transition initiatives to resilient supply chains.

He added that the growing partnership between the two democracies is firmly guided by innovation and sustainable development goals.

India and Sweden have significantly expanded cooperation in areas including clean energy, technology, trade, digital innovation, climate action and advanced manufacturing in recent years.

The joint op-ed comes amid growing India-Europe engagement and enhanced strategic cooperation between New Delhi and Stockholm.

Both leaders have maintained regular high-level interactions aimed at strengthening economic and strategic ties between the two countries.
