New Delhi, 21st May: Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, on Thursday paid tribute to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on the occasion of his death anniversary.
In a message posted on X, Prime Minister Modi said, “Tributes to former Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhi Ji on his death anniversary.”
Rajiv Gandhi served as India’s Prime Minister from 1984 to 1989 and was one of the country’s youngest prime ministers.
He is remembered for pushing technological modernisation, telecom expansion and administrative reforms during his tenure.
