New Delhi, 1st June: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday announced the appointment of Ajay Kumar as the party’s General Secretary (Organisation) for Rajasthan, marking a key organisational change in the state unit.
According to an official order issued by BJP National General Secretary and Headquarters In-Charge Arun Singh, the appointment was approved by BJP National President Nitin Nabin.
The notification stated that Ajay Kumar has been appointed as the Rajasthan BJP’s General Secretary (Organisation) and that the appointment takes effect immediately.
The communication was circulated to national office-bearers, state in-charges, state presidents and Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma for information and necessary action.
The General Secretary (Organisation) is considered one of the most influential organisational positions within the BJP, responsible for coordinating party activities, strengthening the cadre network and ensuring implementation of organisational strategies at the state level.
The appointment comes as the BJP continues to undertake organisational restructuring and expansion efforts across several states ahead of future electoral and political engagements.
Party leaders described the move as part of the BJP’s ongoing efforts to further strengthen its organisational framework in Rajasthan.
