Bratislava, 16th June: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred with the Slovak Republic’s highest State honour, “Order of the White Double Cross, First Class”, in a special ceremony by Slovak President Peter Pellegrini.
Accepting the prestigious award, Prime Minister Modi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the President, the Government and the people of Slovakia for the distinguished honour.
The Prime Minister dedicated the recognition to the 1.4 billion people of India and said it reflected the enduring bonds of friendship between India and Slovakia.
Describing the honour as a testament to the warmth, trust and affection shared by the people of both countries, PM Modi expressed confidence that it would inspire future generations to continue strengthening the special relationship between India and Slovakia.
