New Delhi, 22nd June: The 15-day Sangh Shiksha Varg (General Category) for college students and young professionals organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Delhi Prant concluded at Lalit Mahajan School, Vasant Vihar, on Sunday. A total of 159 trainees participated in the camp.

RSS North Zone Intellectual Training Head Harishchandra addressed the concluding ceremony as the chief speaker, while IndCEPI Chief Project Director Dr Shailja Gupta attended as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Harishchandra highlighted RSS founder Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar’s emphasis on individual character-building as the foundation for a strong and prosperous nation. He said the organisation’s expansion, with over 83,000 shakhas and more than 1.77 lakh service projects across the country, reflects its commitment towards social service and nation-building.

He urged participants to adopt the principles of “Panch Parivartan” — social harmony, family awareness, environment-friendly lifestyle, civic responsibility and Swadeshi — in their daily lives.

Dr Shailja Gupta praised the discipline, punctuality, dedication and collective spirit displayed by the volunteers. She said the strength of any organisation lies in the character and commitment of its members and appreciated the role of RSS’s ghosh tradition in promoting cultural awareness and organisational discipline.

The camp provided physical training, intellectual sessions and lessons in collective living, social sensitivity and service. Senior RSS functionaries, including Delhi Prant Sanghchalak Dr Anil Agarwal and camp head Dr Shashank, were also present at the concluding programme.
