New Delhi, 26th Aug: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Khelo India Dialogue on August 27 at 11 am through video conferencing as part of the National Sports Day 2026 celebrations.

Organised by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), the nationwide programme will bring together young people from two colleges in every district across States and Union Territories. The initiative aims to give youth a platform to discuss India’s sporting journey and contribute ideas towards a youth-led Viksit Bharat.

The dialogue will bring sports, youth leadership, civic responsibility, volunteering, fitness and nation-building onto a common platform. Local interactions will follow the Prime Minister’s address, involving youth participants, MY Bharat volunteers, sportspersons and public representatives.

A key component, Yuva Samvaad, will allow young participants to share their aspirations and ideas around five themes — strengthening India’s sports ecosystem, preparing for the 2036 Olympics, developing youth leadership, empowering young people for Viksit Bharat and promoting a Nasha Mukt Yuva movement.

The sports theme will focus on better facilities, coaching, sports science and wider participation, while the Olympic theme will emphasise scientific talent identification, transparent selection and long-term athlete development.

The programme will also encourage volunteering and civic participation through MY Bharat and promote sports and peer networks as tools to combat substance abuse.
