Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan to attend Kempegowda birth anniversary celebrations and anti-drug conclave in Bengaluru

New Delhi, 26th June: Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan will undertake a two-day visit to Karnataka on June 27 and 28, during which he will attend the 517th birth anniversary celebrations of Nadaprabhu Sri Kempegowda and participate in an anti-drug awareness programme in Bengaluru.

On June 27, the Vice-President will attend the birth anniversary celebrations of Nadaprabhu Sri Kempegowda, the founder of Bengaluru.

On June 28, he will participate in the Nasha Mukt Bharat Conclave, organised by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) as part of its Foundation Day celebrations and the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

The visit will focus on promoting cultural heritage and reinforcing the message of a drug-free India through public engagement and awareness initiatives.
