New Delhi, 26th June: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday paid homage to Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj on his birth anniversary, remembering his lifelong contribution to social justice, equality and the upliftment of disadvantaged communities.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister described Shahu Ji Maharaj as a strong advocate of social justice and equality who dedicated his life to the welfare of the deprived, exploited and backward sections of society.
Modi said the great works and ideals of Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj would continue to guide the nation for generations to come.
“On the birth anniversary of Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj, I pay my respectful tributes to him. He was a strong supporter of social justice and equality. He dedicated his life to the upliftment of the deprived, exploited and backward classes. His great deeds and ideals will continue to guide the nation for ages to come,” the Prime Minister said.
