New Delhi, 14th Aug: President Droupadi Murmu on Friday inaugurated the Amrit Udyan Summer Annuals Edition 2026 at Rashtrapati Bhavan, with the iconic garden set to open to the public from August 16 to September 15.

According to an official statement, the Summer Annuals Edition will remain open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry permitted at 5:00 PM. The garden will remain closed every Monday for maintenance.

Visitors will be able to enter and exit through Gate No. 35, located near North Avenue Road. Entry to Amrit Udyan will be free of cost, but visitors must book their slots online in advance through the official Rashtrapati Bhavan visitor portal. Booking for a particular day will close at 10:00 AM on the preceding day, and no on-the-spot bookings will be allowed.

To ensure a comfortable experience, Rashtrapati Bhavan has arranged several visitor amenities, including drinking water facilities, first-aid posts, rain shelters and restrooms along the designated route.

A complimentary shuttle bus service branded “Shuttle Service for Amrit Udyan” will operate between Central Secretariat Metro Station and the garden entrance at 30-minute intervals from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM during the public opening period.

The seasonal opening of Amrit Udyan, one of the country’s most visited public gardens within the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex, offers visitors an opportunity to experience its vibrant display of seasonal flowers and landscaped gardens during the Summer Annuals Edition.
